Love Ella Book LaunchLove-Ella was launched in Sydney on Friday July 14. More than 200 people attended and the Cornelia de Lange Society was represented by its patron Nick Farr-Jones and a host of members. Heaps of books were sold, and a lot of people showed interest in the CdLS awareness table. Donations totalling $770 were made to CdLS on the night. People were happy to buy the book AND donate. Nick Farr-Jones promised to send copies of the book to various politicians he knows with sections highlighted to make a point about the needs of people with disabilities and their families. One attendee reported: 'The speeches were excellent given by our Peter, Ella's principal, their Minister, the CdLS Australia Patron, Nick Farr-Jones who is a friend of Maddi and Mark, and Maddi herself.
