Hi there! I'm Molly. Welcome to the Love Ella blog. A little about me ~

I have always loved to cook. As a kid, I would flip though cookbooks, study the recipes, and admire the colorful pictures. And I loved creating recipes. Im pretty sure I still have a ‘Smoothie Cookbook’ that I made out of construction paper when I was 10. My dad drank a lot of smoothies that year… 


To this day, I love to cook. But my recipes have changed a lot over the years. By the age of 25, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was devastated, in the worst pain imaginable, but determined to take matters into my own hands. My doctor did what he knew to do - put me on medication. I knew there had to be a better way. So I set out to find natural ways to heal my body, through diet and lifestyle. 


It has been 6 years, and while I wouldn’t wish that kind of pain on anyone, I am so thankful for this experience because I have learned so much. So that’s why I’m writing this blog. I want to share my experience, the things I have learned, and the recipes I have created along the way. 


Oh.. and you're probably wondering who Ella is. That's my dog. I love the idea of thinking about hard situations through a dogs eyes, and how they would respond when you are in pain. They are so happy, compassionate, loving, and FUN. So it's like: 


Hey mom, I'm here and everything is going to be alright! The sun in shining, we can go for a walk, and hang out all day. It will be great!
